Chicago native Ian Koziara was a three-year member of The Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, having worked with conductors as Yannick Nezet-Séguin or Bertrand de Billy. He debuted at the Metropolitan Opera as Enrique (The Exterminating Angel), with subsequent appearances in Parsifal, Marnie, The Magic Flute, and La Fanciulla del West. His appearance as Fritz in Der Ferne Klang was hailed by the «Wiesbadener Tagblatt» as “so strong that one is amazed at how naturally a sense of beauty and despair can go hand in hand”. His performance in the title role of Idomeneo yielded accolades from the «Washington Post», praising his “striking beauty of tone”. Ian is equally at home on the concert stage as in opera, and has recently released the album, SILENCED: Unsung Voices of the 20th Century with pianist Bradley Moore.

Bradley Moore has appeared in recital with Renée Fleming, Susan Graham, Sir Bryn Terfel, Ian Koziara, Jamie Barton, and Angela Meade, among others. He has been a piano soloist with orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra and the Buffalo Philharmonic and has also been heard as a recitative accompanist and continuo player with the Met Orchestra, the Wiener Philharmoniker or the Los Angeles Philharmonic. His most recent recording is SILENCED: UnsungVoices of the 20th Century, with tenor Ian Koziara for Cedille Records, featuring songs by Káprálova, Schreker, Ullmann, and Zemlinsky. He conducted the world premieres of The House Without a Christmas Tree by Ricky Ian Gordon and Some Light Emerges by Laura Kaminsky at the Houston Grand Opera. He is currently assistant conductor at the Metropolitan Opera.
