Què ens hi trobarem?
El pianista Maximilian Kromer, que va ser artista Lied the Future en l'edició anterior de la Schubertíada, torna enguany com a solista amb un programa que explora la línia Beethoven-Schubert-Liszt, articulat entorn dels Valses nobles de Schubert.
L'obra destacada
L'editor Tobias Haslinger, a qui cal reconèixer un bon ull comercial per als títols, va publicar el 1827 una col·lecció de valsos de Schubert, l'op. 77, amb el nom Valses nobles. Aquesta petita gran col·lecció de dotze valsos, una de les més estimades pel compositor –que, juntament amb els Valses sentimentales, va inspirar l'obra de Ravel– és el fil conductor d'un programa que acabarà amb l'imponent Fantasia Wanderer.

As soloist, chamber musician and Lied accompanist, Maximilian Kromer has been the guest of multiple concert venues, such as the Viennese Musikverein and Konzerthaus, the Konzerthaus Dortmund or the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, and of music festivals in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Rheingau, the Tonhalle Maag in Zurich or the Mozartwoche in Salzburg. In 2023 he presented the release of a CD with baritone Daniel Gutmann, published by Gramola, including musical settings by Robert Schumann of poems by Heine. The same label has recently also presented Kromer’s debut solo album with recordings of virtuoso Viennese piano works. Since 2022 he has been in vivid musical exchange with one of the leading authorities in Lied accompaniment, Helmut Deutsch. In 2025, he took part in the Lied the Future program, won the soloist prize at the Schubert Competition in Dortmund, and received the first prize at the Helmut Deutsch Lied Competition.
