He is acclaimed for his “rare beauty of sound – powerful and balm-like at the same time” («Tagesspiegel»). Born in a small village in the Ural region, he studied in Germany and was a member of the Académie of the Opéra National de Paris. He is an alumnus of the Orsay-Royaumont Academy and a Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now and Britten Pears artist. With pianist Elitsa Desseva, he won major international song competitions in Graz, Stuttgart, and at Wigmore Hall. Engagements have taken him to the Opéra Bastille, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne, Konzerthaus Berlin, Wigmore Hall, and Brucknerhaus Linz. As a concert soloist, he has appeared at the Berlin Philharmonie, the Vienna Musikverein, and the Salzburger Festspiele. Since 2009, he has been committed to benefit concerts supporting children with mental health challenges in Russia.
Born in Tarragona in 1995, Mireia Tarragó took a bachelor’s degree in Singing and a master’s degree in Lied Interpretation at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). She now forms a duo with the pianist Carmen Santamaría, with whom she gives song recitals across Spain, making the work of a number of women composers more widely known. She also recently presented her first record in tribute to the Cantabrian composer Arturo Dúo-Vital. In the field of opera, Mireia Tarragó recently debuted as Contessa de Ceprano (Rigoletto) under the baton of Oliver Díaz. Her repertoire includes such roles as Lucy (The Telephone), Micaëla (Carmen) and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi). In 2020, Mireia Tarragó won the Catalunya Música prize in the contest El Primer Palau. She has performed on various occasions at the Schubertíada and at the LIFE Victoria festival in Barcelona. She has also sung in such outstanding venues as the Auditorium of the Opéra National de Bordeaux and L’Auditori in Barcelona.
La seva afició per la música va començar en els assajos de pasdobles i sarsueles de la banda de Toledo, la seva ciutat natal. Des dels seus inicis ha rebut premis en nombrosos concursos, destacant el primer premi en el Concurs JJMM d'Espanya (2016), que la va portar a debutar com a solista amb la ORTVE. Les seves primeres passes van ser guiades per María Casado i Asier Polo. Entre 2017 i 2022 va estudiar a l'Escola Superior de Música Reina Sofia. Allà va ser membre del quartet de corda Óscar Esplá, rebent la menció al grup de cambra més excel·lent en 2019 i 2020. En 2022 es va incorporar a l'Acadèmia de la Staatskapelle de Berlín i des d'agost d'aquell any és membre de l'Orquesta Nacional de España.
Hailed by Le Soir as “a wonderful musician who deliberately avoids ostentation,” Nicolás Margarit has quickly established himself as an extraordinarily versatile musician whose wide-ranging repertoire encompasses performances on both modern and historical keyboards. He performs in venues and concert series throughout Europe, mainly in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom. Born in Brisbane, Australia, Nicolas began his musical studies at the age of three. He moved to Spain in 2017 to study with Dmitri Bashkirov at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid. Since then he has continued his studies with Milana Chernyavska and Claudio-Martinez Mehner, receiving additional lessons from such musicians as as András Schiff, Andreas Staier and Pierre-Laurent Aimard.
Noctes és un cor de cambra de Barcelona fundat el 2019 per Àlex Honrubia i dirigit per Maria Mauri. Format per setze joves cantants amb àmplia experiència coral i formació vocal, té com a objectiu compartir música de cambra de qualitat i oferir als seus membres una plataforma de formació i projecció artística. Amb un repertori versàtil, interpreta obres de diverses èpoques i treballa amb directors convidats com Lluís Vilamajó, Pedro Pardo i Alexander Frey. Ha actuat en auditoris i festivals destacats com el de Grans Concerts a l’Atlàntida de Vic i el Festival del Romànic, i va guanyar el segon premi al I Certamen Coral Ciudad de Granada (2023). També col·labora amb entitats com l'Orquestra Simfònica Victoria de los Ángeles i La Sonorosa, i manté el compromís amb artistes emergents i projectes socials.
