One of the most sought-after piano accompanists and chamber musicians of his young generation. After completing studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hans Eisler in Berlin, he studied lied interpretation with Wolfram Rieger. He has received awards for best pianist at the 2009 Das Lied Competition in Berlin and the 2010 Hugo-Wolf-Akademie competition in Stuttgart, among others. He went on to debut at numerous concert halls and festivals in Europe, such as the Lucerna Festival, Vienna’s Musikverein, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Philharmonie Köln, Festival Heidelberger Frühling Festival, Konzerthaus Berlin, the Bergen International, and Festival RheinVokal Festival. In 2011 he started working as an assistant to professor Thomas Quasthoff at the Hochschule für Musik Hans Eisler and in 2015 earned a position as professor of lied interpretation at the Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg.
