The soprano Jone Martínez began her vocal apprenticeship at the Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga Conservatoire in Bilbao. She graduated with the Bachelor’s in Pedagogy of Musical Language and Musical Education in Musikene, in San Sebastián, where she has just finished her lyrical singing diplom, receiving award for the best academic record. She has continued her vocal and musical training with Carlos Mena. As a soloist she is demanded by the most important orchestras in Spain, and she is reclaimed to sing in a lot of festivals and auditoriums in Spain and Europe. During the last season, she performed Pergolesi's Stabat Mater in Basel; Grieg's Lieder and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater in Córdoba; the role of Achille in Ifigenia (Coccia); Beethoven´s Symphony No. 9 and Bach´s Johannes Passion, in Madrid, as well as Palomo´s Sinfonía a Granada in Chemnitz and Orff's Carmina Burana at the main concert halls in the Basque Country.
