


Portuguese Mezzo-Soprano Beatriz Miranda joined the Ensemble of the Staatsoper Hannover in the 2023/24 season after completing one year at the International Opera Studio at the Staatsoper Hannover. She has sung there, among others, the roles of Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel), Dorabella (Così fan tutte) as well as the Priestess (Aïda). A passionate art song recitalist, she was invited to perform at the Schubert Week in 2023 at the Pierre Boulez Saal, and has performed in several other venues and festivals as the Neuland.Lied in Heidelberg, the historical Reitstadel in Neumarkt or the Ravinia Festival in Chicago. She is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin; she is an alumna of the Ravinia's Steans Institute, of the Internationale Meistersinger Akademie and of the Heidelberger Frühling Liedakademie.

Romanian pianist Teodora Oprișor has performed recitals in venues and festivals such as the Wigmore Hall, Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin, LIFE Victoria Festival or Musée d’Orsay. Having studied piano performance at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, she then pursued her Master’s Degree in Piano Accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She is a former scholar, among others, of the Heidelberg Lied Academy and the Lied the Future programme of the Schubertíada. She has been awarded the best piano accompanist at the John Warner Singing competition in Chichester (United Kingdom) and the Robert Schumann Song Competition at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Teodora has served as pianist of the Orfeón Donostiarra choir for five years, and from the 2024-25 academic year, she is Accompanying Pianist Professor at the Reina Sofía School of Music.
